About
The Club:
Rock ‘n’ Roll Running Club provides coaching services and running events for a music-oriented crowd. Basically, this is a not-so-typical running club for a not-so-typical runner. We welcome bands, fans, musicians, DJs, groupies, roadies, managers, and general music lovers who would like to begin a running routine or improve their running performance without sacrificing their rock ‘n’ roll lifestyle.
Ginger Richards has been playing and touring in bands for over 15 years, which includes playing lead guitar for Denver’s all-girl garage-punk outfit the Pin Downs from 1998 – 2001 and rhythm guitar for 60s garage-rockers and Cavestomp alumni the Hall Monitors in Washington DC from 2005-2009. After residing in the DC area for 8 years, Ginger decided to return to the Denver area to pursue her passion for fitness, nutrition, and music. She began running in 2008 and has been competing in triathlons, road races, and relays ever since. Ginger is an ACSM Certified Personal Trainer, an RRCA Certified Running Coach, and a Certified Holistic Health Counselor. She also provides nutrition and health coaching services through her wellness business, Highway to Well.
